I’m not much of a cook, but I will bake. I started off by baking cookies and now my favorite things to bake are brownies. Why? I just love the crust and how it feels in your mouth when you first pop them out of the oven. I know, it’s super bad for you and it’s very “yee-hay” aka hot air in Chinese culture but hell, I’m in American right now so it’s okay. Now, if only I had heart-shaped measuring cups and this super cool baker’s edge brownie pan, then making brownies would be 10x more fun than it is already.

Here’s a bonus. I made these heart-shaped brownies the other day for a couple of boys at an apartment I’m always at as a Thank You note. I put some walnuts in it. First time making anything with nuts… I messed up because I didn’t bake it with the walnut. I know it was stupid of me, oh well – it was made from scratch and timing from my mind. Let’s just say I made more but these weer the only ones presentable.
